Congolese African Dance

Saturdays, 10:00 - 11:00 am

This class teaches students the basics of Congolese history and dance, including dance technique, rhythms, choreography, and traditional songs. Students learn self esteem, self expression, and the importance of movement as an art form, as well as promote health and wellness. Come and experience the unique style and interpretation of Congolese dance. Instruction is open to all levels. Dance classes explore the vast movement traditions of Congo-Brazzaville, Congo-Kinshasa. They will ignite your inner soul! Please wear loose clothing and soft shoes or barefoot.
