TRAHC COMMITTEES

…aid staff in the development and implementation of programs and services to Texarkana and beyond.  As advisors, they bring ideas and suggestions to assist TRAHC's mission of Growing People and Community Through the Arts.

 

PROGRAM ADVISORY COMMITTEE

…an extensive cross-section of the community that advises staff in developing shows for the Perot Theatre or Cabe Hall. Each year, the group reviews available programs and makes suggestions based on their relevant expertise.
 

VISUAL ARTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE

…a representation of the community who review and advise staff in planning gallery exhibits as well as local and regional showcases.

 

SPECIAL TARGETING COMMITTEES

…offer insight into specific areas of our community - both locally and regionally.  They are comprised of identified leaders in each of their reflective populations.

TRAHC's AFRICAN-AMERICAN COMMITTEE

…a community-wide representation of the area's African-American population that not only advises TRAHC of performing and visual arts interests, but also develops and hosts annual performing arts evenings, visual arts exhibits, special performances, hosts various information-gathering sessions, and is a contributing sponsor to a Perot Theatre Series event. TRAHC's LATINO OUTREACH COMMITTEE

…the newest of TRAHC's outreach programs provides a window into the Latino community.  Having participated in Occasional Thursday's in conjunction with Perot Theatre events and previous TRAHC festivals, the group now hosts a multi-cultural event under TRAHC's umbrella to broaden the scope of understanding that the Texarkana region has multiple Latino populations offering exciting visual and performing arts, not just Hispanic, which add a special flavor to our community. RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEES

…exist to ensure human and financial resources for TRAHC for the present and future.


SHOW CHAMP TEAM - ensures that TRAHC meets or exceeds audience projections for ticketed programs.
 
MEMBERSHIP TEAM - identifies new sources of memberships, retention of members, and attracting members.
 
BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP TEAM - identifies and contacts new sources of business partnerships, develops on-going partner relationships, and explores new means of attracting partners.
 
LONG-RANGE FINANCIAL PLANNING - addresses the future needs of the organization and priorities of three-year plans.
 
ARTsSMART PARTNERSHIP TEAM
- addresses goals and on-going sustainability of ArtsSmart.
 
FACILITIES and CAPITAL RESOURCES - evaluates and makes recommendations regarding facility and capital needs.
 
BOARD DEVELOPMENT - solicits community participation at the committee level; nominates new directors and officers.
 
GOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS - ensures good relationships with local, regional and other governmental entities.
 
PUBLIC INFORMATION/COMMUNICATIONS - part of an advisory resource for TRAHC communications.
