Graphic Designer
TEXARKANA REGIONAL ARTS AND HUMANITIES COUNCIL, INC. (TRAHC) ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY
POSITION: Graphics Designer, Full-Time, Salaried position with good benefits.
EMPLOYMENT DATE: Immediately
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Mac computers
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Experience quoting and managing various types of print jobs
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Comprehensive knowledge of graphic design principles, a wide variety of media, and production methods
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- In collaboration with Executive Director and Marketing Director, develop concepts and design for all TRAHC materials, including but not limited to direct mail, calendars, brochures, ads, postcards, newsletters, flyers, invitations, posters, etc.
- Meet all deadlines set by Executive Director and Marketing Director.
- Manage website updates and coordinate e-newsletters.
- Manage and maintain graphic files, including logos, photos and art.
- Writing and editing skills are a plus.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience and education. Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States must be verified for successful candidate.

Incorporated in 1977, TRAHC is a private non-profit Local Arts Agency serving a 100-mile radius in four states. TRAHC’s mission is to grow people and community through the arts, which is pursued through myriad leadership programs and services from education to exhibits, supported by both the Texas Commission on the Arts and the Arkansas Arts Council. TRAHC manages the Perot Theatre through contract with the City of Texarkana, Texas, and also through a long-term lease, manages the Regional Arts Center. TRAHC maintains affiliations with the Association of Performing Arts Presenters, the League of Historic American Theatres, the United States Institute for Theatre Technology and the Southwest Performing Arts Presenters, among others.
